In the early days Ausfine was fundamental in developing markets such as Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, China, Algeria, Middle East & Egypt for Australian Dairy and Meat Products.

Since then exporting procedure have simplified over the years, and Dairy & Meat Products are better understood and widely traded.   The role of Ausfine has become less about commodity trading, and more about providing a service bringing additional value to our suppliers through strategic export marketing. 

Ausfine Foods International works with major Dairy and Meat producers in a number of different ways, depending on suppliers requirements.

PRIMARY MARKETING ARM INTO KEY MARKETS

  • Sole export agent of a manufacturers full range of products worldwide. 
  • Sole agent for a grouping of products, or a specific product, world wide.
  • Sole agent into a specific market(s) for a specific product.

SECONDARY MARKETING ARM INTO KEY MARKETS

We complement our suppliers strategic objectives by way of a secondary marketing arm into established markets, in order to increase our suppliers business into high value markets without upsetting other strategic alliances.  This is done in an open and integrated fashion.

DEVELOPING NEW MARKETS AND NEW PRODUCTS

Sales into new developing markets, and focussing on increasing sales of value added ingredients and products which require a stronger knowledge of dairy products, their applications, and a long term commitment in this area.  We have an in depth knowledge and understanding of the International Dairy Market, and the movement of Dairy Products around the world. 

PROVIDING ACCESS TO PROTECTED MARKETS

We have an in depth knowledge regarding access of dairy products into protected markets such as Europe & USA, as well as active participation in securing access to these markets for our suppliers on a regular and ongoing basis.

TRADING OF DOWNGRADE AND OUT OF SPECIFICATION PRODUCTS

Over the years we have successfully moved significant volumes of downgraded products directly to end user manufacturers due to our knowledge of dairy products and our customers capabilities.  Products are sold on an all faults disclosed basis to end users, so they are not then traded on the open market.

PROMOTIONAL ACTIVITIES

Ausfine are committed to actively participating in 2-3 market specific trade shows each year on top of the numerous, customer specific, market visits.  This is effectively an extension to the suppliers marketing arm without the associated costs. 

CUSTOMER DATABASE

In our almost 20 years we have built an extensive database of validated customers in over 35 markets worldwide.  The majority of customers are direct end user manufacturers, other customers include food service and retail distributors, or trading partners who provide access into protected markets.
